Student Wellness Advisory Group

The NC State Student Wellness Advisory Group is a recommending body that will provide insight, feedback, experiences and ideas regarding the student wellness experience at NC State. This group meets twice per semester during the academic year. Each meeting invites students to discuss specific wellness topics as well as current needs of the community. Members may recommend considerations for wellness services, initiatives and programs.

Student Wellness Group Responsibilities

  • Attend scheduled meetings. There are typically two meetings each fall and spring semester. Each meeting will last approximately 60 – 90 minutes.
  • Adopt and integrate NC State’s common language for wellness within the respective organization.
  • Provide feedback on university-wide issues pertaining to the wellness needs of the student body.
  • Facilitate and increase communication among wellness peer education groups and student leaders.
